Event Details
On 16th January 2025, the 7th annual “Jashn-e-Milad-e-Maula Ali and Urs-e-Khwaja Ghareeb Nawaz” was organized at Minara Masjid, Mohammad Ali Road, Mumbai. The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Qari Muhammad Rashid Ashrafi. The inaugural address was delivered by the Imam and Khatib of Minara Masjid, Hazrat Maulana Qari Abdul Rashid Rahmani Misbahi, who highlighted the spiritual legacy of Hazrat Makhdum Mahaimi and Hazrat Makhdum Ashraf Jahangir Samnani and emphasized remaining attached to the righteous saints. Thereafter, Maulana Farhan Najmi Ashrafi presented devotional verses in praise of the Ahl al-Bayt.
The event was held under the patronage of Shahzada-e-Huzoor Shaikh-ul-Hind Hazrat Syed Muhammad Ashraf Ashrafi Jilani Kachochhwi and Shahzada-e-Huzoor Ashraf-ul-Ulama Hazrat Syed Khalid Ashraf Ashrafi Jilani Kachochhwi (Sadr-e-Aala, Sunni Darul Uloom Muhammadiya, Mumbai).
The special keynote address was delivered by Shahzada-e-Huzoor Shaikh-e-Azam Ashraf-e-Millat Hazrat Maulana Syed Muhammad Ashraf al-Ashrafi al-Jilani Kachochhwi Sahib, who spoke eloquently on the virtues and merits of Hazrat Ali (Karramallahu Wajhah). He explained that a Rafidi is one who harbors hatred towards the Companions, while a Nasibi is one who harbors hatred towards the Ahl al-Bayt; whereas Ahl-e-Sunnat wa Jama‘at are those who fulfill the rights of both. He further stressed the necessity of purifying the heart from spiritual impurities to live a united and harmonious life.
Prior to this address, Mufti Muhammad Ali Aarifi, Imam and Khatib of Al-Madina Masjid, Agripada, Mumbai Central (Graduate of Jamia Nizamia, Hyderabad), spoke on the greatness of the Ahl al-Bayt in the light of the Qur’an and Hadith, emphasizing that salvation is inseparable from holding firmly to both the Qur’an and the Ahl al-Bayt.
Guest Naat reciter from Raipur, Hazrat Maulana Syed Muhammad Ashraf Ashrafi, uplifted the gathering with Naat and Manqabat. On this occasion, the Maula Ali Research Center (under Minara Masjid Trust) achieved two significant milestones: the launch of its official website Minaramasjid.com, and the formal release of six scholarly books.
Details of the Books:
