Kitab “Shab Jaaye ke Man Boodam” ek nihayat sabaq aamoz aur roohani o ilmi tasneef hai, jismein muhaddiseen ki zindagiyan aur un ka tareeqa-e-husool-e-ilm-e-deen nihayat dilnasheen andaaz mein bayan kiya gaya hai. Is ke musannif Farooq Khan Mahaimi hain, jinhon ne is kitab mein akabir muhaddiseen ki ilmi jaddo-jahd, ikhlaas aur mehnat ko moassar andaaz mein pesh kiya hai.
Yeh kitab yeh wazeh karti hai ke muhaddiseen ne ilm-e-hadees ke liye door door ke safar kiye, raaton ko jag kar ibadat aur mutala kiya, aur kis ikhlaas ke sath ilm ko mehfooz aur muntqil kiya. Is mein aise waqiat aur aqwaal shamil hain jo qari ke andar ilm ki ahmiyat aur us ke husool ka jazba paida karte hain.
Yeh tasneef yeh batati hai ke ilm-e-deen sirf mutala ka naam nahi balki qurbani, sabr, istiqamat aur ikhlaas ka taqaza karta hai.
کتاب کا تعارف
کتاب “شب جائے کہ من بودم” ایک نہایت سبق آموز اور روحانی و علمی تصنیف ہے، جس میں محدثینِ کرام کی زندگیاں اور ان کا طریقۂ حصولِ علمِ دین نہایت دلنشین انداز میں بیان کیا گیا ہے۔ اس کے مصنف فاروق خان مہائمی ہیں، جنہوں نے اس کتاب میں اکابر محدثین کی علمی جدوجہد، اخلاص اور محنت کو مؤثر انداز میں پیش کیا ہے۔
یہ کتاب اُن روشن پہلوؤں کو اجاگر کرتی ہے کہ کس طرح محدثین نے علمِ حدیث کے حصول کے لیے طویل سفر کیے، راتیں جاگ کر عبادت و مطالعہ میں گزاریں، اور کس اخلاص و تقویٰ کے ساتھ علم کو محفوظ اور منتقل کیا۔ کتاب کے مختلف مقامات پر ایسے واقعات اور اقوال ملتے ہیں جو قاری کے دل میں علم کی عظمت اور اس کے حصول کا جذبہ پیدا کرتے ہیں۔
یہ تصنیف اس حقیقت کو واضح کرتی ہے کہ علمِ دین صرف مطالعہ کا نام نہیں بلکہ قربانی، صبر، استقامت اور اخلاص کا تقاضا کرتا ہے۔ ابتدائی صفحات سے ہی اس کتاب کا تربیتی اور اصلاحی انداز نمایاں ہو جاتا ہے۔

Farooq Khan Mahaimi Misbahi is a Sunni Islamic scholar who has pursued both religious and secular education.
He obtained the degrees of Aalim, Faazil, and Ifta from Jamia Ashrafia, Mubarakpur (Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh). He also completed the certifications of Munshi, Maulvi, Aalim, and Kamil from the Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Board.
Alongside his religious studies, he completed his Matriculation and Intermediate from school and later earned his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees from Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU).
Teaching and Scholarly Services
Mahaimi Saheb served for six years at Darul Uloom Mahboob Subhani, Kurla (Mumbai), where his responsibilities included issuing fatwas and teaching Islamic sciences.
For the past three years, he has been serving as a teacher at Jamiat-ul-Madina Faizan-e-Kanz-ul-Iman, the central seminary of Dawat-e-Islami in Mumbai.
Additionally, for the last three year, he has been affiliated with the Maula Ali Research Centre, which operates under the Minara Masjid Trust.
